To the Editor: People don’t really care how much they pay for a home (“Through the Roof,” Cover Story, Dec. 3). They only care about whether they can afford the monthly payment. If mortgage rates stay at 3% for the next few years, then supply/demand would dictate price levels. If rates go to 5%, look out below!
